Is there anything that i need to be mindful of or be aware of before I get the car back on the road? My car has been standing for 4 months and I have had the battery charged and will inspect water, oil and so on. But is there anything else i should check before hitting the highway? thanks.

Hi

If the car has been standing for some time it may be worth checking the brakes, especially the hand brake, as it takes very little for these to start to jam up. Also just have a quick look over the brake pipes, especially the flexible hoses that go the calipers as these start to perish rather quickly if left standing.
Other than that just have a really good look around the car and make sure that nothing is out of the ordinary
