indcator lights (renault laguna rt)

my driver side indicator light stays on (not flashing) when the head/rear lights are on but does not work at all when these lights are of off.
When indicate with passager side indicator, that works fine but head/rear lights flash on/off too.
I need help. (renault laguna rt reg R 1997)

Hi KB sounds like a poor (high resistance) earth, try a wander lead from a good earth to lampholders metal body.

Thanks for reply, Sparxs.
I was a bit cheekie and walked in to halfords and had a snoop at the hayes manuals and tried to make sense of wiring diagrams. Normally keep away from cars, I have a phobia for them, hate the things!
Now sorted it out. Was a loose connection under dashboard.
