People,
Especially the controller of this site: Your page on "changing a spare wheel" refers to disconnecting the battery positive terminal!! This is a NO No. Whenever disconnecting battery terminals on modern, negative earth vehicles, you should always disconnect the negative lead first. If you attempt to disconnect the positive lead and happen to touch the vehicle body with the spanner you will do a lot of damage to yourself!!!

Why would you disconnect the battery to change the spare wheel ?

I've just looked in how to change a battery - and it tells you to disconnect the negative terminal first ?

I don't understand this post
