Ive lost my security wheel socket for an 04 Corsa Is it possible to get a replacement from a dealer I realise they are all different but I thought I might be able to get one by quoting the engine number

Or is there another way round this problem ?

Any Vauxhall mechanics out there ?

Many Thanks

Hi

You may be able to get one from your Vauxhall dealler but this will probably cost a fair amount.

A bit of a bodge I know but one other way is to get a socket that is slightly smaller than the security bolt and beat it over the security bolt with a hammer and you should be able to un-do it. You have to be carefull not to slip and damage the wheel (if it is alloy) but this usually works ok, just make sure it is a tight fit and you have a long breaker bar and get plenty of leverage.

Hope this helps

Cheers
