They visit the carparks of a participating company/organisation at specified intervals and check the tyre pressures of cars in the scheme. They will inflate or deflate as necessary for the correct pressure of that particular vehicle. This is all done for a nominal charge..don't know what that is.
The also check tyre wear and advise if a change is needed.

My company has just signed up with them as when asked 90% of the employees said they either never check, check infrequently or dont know how to.
Personally I was just sick and tired of visiting a garage to find the air pump out of order or filthy dirty or just poorly sited and without any cover so open to the elements.
My car is a company vehicle and my company picks up the bill but they probably make that back on the fuel saved from having the correct tyre pressures. Also less costs on replacement tyres.
I think they are trying to show that they are doing their bit to reduce Co2 emissions aswell which is another knock on effect of having correct tyre pressures by all accounts.
According to the AA 6% of fatal accidents are due to incorrect tyre pressures aswell so there is a health advantage as well as cost and enviromental one.

Yes we use them at my work. Its a simple but great service. They check the pressure and the tyre. If the pressure needs adjusting they will do it and if the tyre is in need of changing they will recommend that you do it but dont sell you the tyre.
We use them because most people are to lazy to do it themselves. Under inflated tyres can add 3% to your yearly fuel bill, reduce the life of your tyres by at least 25% and according to the AA 6% of fatal car accidents are due to incorrect tyre pressures! By driving on incorrect tyre pressures we also dump another 5.5 million tonnes of greenhouse gases into the UK's atmosphere every year.
Using a garage pump is a waste of time because when you drive to the garage your tyre's and the air in them heat up and give you an inaccurate reading. Your tyre needs to be cold and if you have driven on it you would have to wait about an hour for it to cool down. Also an AA survey found a huge percentge of garage pressure gauges to be inaccurate anyway. How many times have you seen them out of order as well or filthy dirty. The main point though is that you will never get an accurate reading because you will have driven to the pump!!
We pay £2.50 a car every month for Air4ce to check and adjust the car tyre pressures whilst they are in the company car park and so we never have to get down on our hands and knees in all weathers again!
Brilliant service which saves us money on fuel and tyres and keeps us safe and helps the enviroment. All for £2.50 a month!

Hi,

My company is looking to arrange something like this. We've already been in contact with "Etyres" who run a similar scheme - but Im unable to locate AIR4ce online to speak to them.

Do you have any info on how I could contact them please?

Thanks
