Summary: golf practice. How to practice properly
After a hard day with your DIY jobs give yourself a break with a game of golf. Golf is now one of the UKs top participant sports and there are literally thousands of top class golf courses all over the UK.
Just as in the DIY world, the task you undertake will be so much better if your preperation is complete and this, in the majority of cases, means lessons and practice. Lessons can be arranged with the golf professional at your local golf course and teaching pros are trained to teach every standard of golfer, including those who have never even picked up a club before.
This project will give you plenty of tips on how to play the game of golf and when you have the basics under your belt you will need to practice them. Every pro will tell you that to practice golf effectively you need to recreate the conditions you experience on the golf course. The Range Game is a way of doing just this. This unique product can take your golf game to the next level and will change the way golf is practiced all over the world.. Scroll down to find out about The Range Game
Gripping the club The grip is of upmost importance as the hands are the only part of the players body that comes into contact with the club. Start with the left hand pointing to the ground and place the top of the handle into the callous pad just short of your little finger/palm and then diagonally across the fingers through... Posture Good posture is vital as it gives us good balance throughout the swing and sets up the plane on which the club will be swung. When standing upright widen your feet to shoulder width apart with the toes pointing slightly outwards with even weight distribution. Place a club across your waist so your thumbs... More Information
Driving As the driver is longer and the swing more powerful, you need a firm plantation so the stance is wider, with the feet being more than shouler width apart. The ball position is just inside the left heel to help the club hit the ball on the upswing. You must get your weight behind the ball at address and keep it there, so tilt your spine away from the target... More Information
Iron play For short to mid irons (sw to 7 iron) the ball position should be in the centre of your stance. The longer the club the ball should be put progressively further forward into your stance to finally reach opposite the left heel with the driver. Ball position gives the player a consistent angle of attack and creates the desired ball flight trajectory. During the swing the clubhead naturally reaches its lowest point just left of the centre of the feet therefore the longer irons and even more so with the driver... More Information
chipping
Chipping Unbelievably the amateur golfer plays 75% of his or her game from 100 yards, or less, into the pin. The set up on the left is for the "chip and run" shot. This shot is used from short distances from the edge of the greens where there are no hazards in front of you as the principle of this shot is to lift the ball to the nearest available flat piece of green and let it roll out to the hole. How can The Range Game help my golf?
With a unique Range Course Planner, designed by a Professional Golfer and a short, simple set of instructions, we show you how to use the skills you already have to practice the game you want to play on the course. Everything you need comes in one envelope. There are no gadgets, or quick fix gizmos. You do not sign up for life, you do not have to buy special equipment, you do not have to play adio tapes every night or while you drive. You do not get hypnotized. You simply practice hitting golf balls, but you do it in a way you have never done before. You use our planner, our instructions and your imagination to practice golf in a completely different way. Same clubs, same balls, different idea!! Exactly the way professionals practice.
Each hole has its par and two of those shots are expected to be on the green. With a par 3 hole it is expected that you will hit the green in one and take two puts to get par. A par 4 holes takes 2 shots to get to the green and a further 2 puts for par. Par 5 holes take 3 to get to the green. The Range Game re-creates that scenario. Bashing balls for miles in no particular direction is not wanted on the course so why practice it on the range?
If you can see a shot clearly in your mind its much more likely you will hit it on the course. This is because your brain has clear instructions and is well capable of following them. If there is doubt in your mind, wrong club? Draw or fade? Then it will show in your shot.
Get a good image of the hole in front of you with The Range Game Visualize the hazards and fairway. You should feel the importance of every shot, you should concentrate as you take your posture and check your grip. Is your alignment right? Is the ball position right for the shot I need to play? You can see from the diagrams where the pro has the ball, can you relate to that? Do you know why the ball is placed further back in the stance for a chip shot out of the rough? Ask your pro, get to understand what you want to achieve. You need to learn about your swing, but about your mental approach and if your approach to each and every shot is the same, with total visualization and relaxed swing, your golf will improve.
The Range Game creates the pressure of losing a ball, of hitting wildly into a lake and having to get down in two to score. The Range Game takes the game of golf exactly as it is played on the course and allows you to play it, and feel it, on the range.
Use the website for our useful tips from a professional golfer, then buy The Range Game to learn how to play great shots on the course by practicing them on the range. You can turn your game around just by the right kind of practice.
