Full range of products to protect every floor, wall, carpet and surface from mess and damageThere are so many jobs indoors where floor protection would be a great idea but such a hassle to arrange. The dust sheets are usually screwed up in the garage with the last jobs rubbish still bundled in the folds.

Tripping over and sliding on dust sheets is a pain and the temptation is to try and be "extra careful" and not bother with the protection!

Fortunately, this thinking is no longer necessary. Protectafloor, made by Trio Plus, is a great way to protect every surface, from most eventualities around your home. You simply unroll the sheet to protect walls, carpets, laminate or tiled floors and even windows. The low tack coating on one side allows it to stay in exactly the position you placed it. The adhesive itself is so advanced that it will not mark walls or floors and will not stain or mark carpets or fabrics.

The rolls themselves are made from puncture resistant, super strength polyethylene and comes in different widths and lengths to suit the job in hand.

DIY Doctors tradesmen have used these products and certainly not found them wanting. The extra time taken in rolling out the covering is more than paid for by the fact that there can be no cleaning or repair bills not to mention the peace of mind one gets from not having to worry about accidentally treading wet plaster into the carpet when you go to the loo.

In our opinion, not only should every tradesman in the UK have a roll of floor protection, but every trades person also.

The range of protection as seen above is comprised of;

A: Trio Premium Fleece for hard floors. A self adhesive, non slip, reusable laminated cotton fleece. The felt on the top side will not break up as it is swept and the green (sticky) underside will hold to the surface without slipping giving ultimate protection on all hard surfaces including worktops and office desks. This material comes in rolls of either 1 or 2 metres wide at 25m long.

B: Multi surface protection which is reverse wound to apply to walls and floors with ease. Above it is stuck to a cupboard, but it will just as easily stick to windows and floors. Absolutely ideal for protection against paint or plaster splashes to walls, units, worktops, desks and even cars if you are painting your home. It comes in 50m rolls at 600mm wide it will cover 30 square metres.

C & D: Heavy (C) and lighter duty carpet protection. Both reverse wound (the opposite of Sellotape) so the sticky side sticks as you roll it out. Absolutely ideal for protection against paint splashes or spillages, plastering wallpaper stripping, muddy boots and all manner of pet problems!

It cannot be stressed enough how the light adhesive makes these products not slip and so easy to work with. To find out more about protecting the surfaces in your home while workmen invade, click on the link.

What ever DIY project you are doing you will need to protect your floors and hard surfaces. Temporary coverings are a great way to ensure that your carpets or hard floor surfaces are fully protected for the duration of your DIY work or indeed any refurbishment or alteration work that results in heavy foot traffic or spillage

If you think this job might cause you too many problems and you would prefer free quotes from qualified, reliable, insured and vetted tradesperson, just click here and put the job details on one of our forms.
