Eco Solutions X-Tex® will remove textured coatings such as Artex® without causing dust from harmful asbestos fibres (which can be found in many older textured coating). This unique Artex remover is made by Eco Solutions (who make solvent free paint strippers) from the most advanced, patented water-based technology using “science not solvents”.
Some plaster-type textured coatings (mainly sold before the mid-1980’s) may contain harmful asbestos fibres, Minimal VOC content (0.000004%, as certified by independent laboratory detection test). VOCs are Volatile Organic Compounds and are the chemicals that can evaporate and cause breathing difficulties and other issues as they can be toxic.
One litre will cover up to 2-3 sq meters, depending on the coating that you’re trying to remove and it’s thickness.
X-Tex has a gel consistency that means that it will cling to the surface that is being stripped. This includes ceilings if necessary.

How to use X-Tex:
For use on textured coatings such as Artex® the process only takes 15-30 minutes to be effective. If the textured coatings has a layer or two of paint it will take up to 1 hour. If there are thick or multi-layers of paint over textured coatings you may need to apply and leave it for 1 hour to overnight to be effective. There are full instructions on the tub.
