Tiling Bargain Bucket Description:

Planning to tile the wall or floor in bathrooms and kitchens just got a whole lot easier with the DIY Doctor Tiling Bargain Bucket. We have put together a selection of the essential tiling tools which will make tiling on both walls and floors possible; we feel this is what you should have before you start the job so you don't get stuck mid way through.

Once you have prepared the wall or floor properly then check that you have all the tilers tools before you start the job. You can select any that you don't have and with full instructions and videos available on our website about how to carry out every part of tiling from the setting out to the grouting you should be able to complete the job easily and to a really high standard.

You'll need a Contractor's Tile Cutter which makes cutting wall tiles really easy and as it is able to cope with floor and wall tiles up to 8mm thick and up to 400mm wide which should cover most jobs. Use the tile nips to cut tiles around awkward shapes and then the tile file to tidy up the edges. We have selected a range of tile spacers to give you the option to vary the size of joints between the tiles (Please see our project on laying cermaic floor tiles for more information about how to go about your project). There are many tools and gadgets available for grouting tiles but all of the pros (who care about their work) use a sponge. The sponge allows every part of the joint to be filled to the brim with grout, keeping your tiled surface waterproof.

Watch the video on the Tiling Bargain Buckets for more tool information.

We deliver throughout the UK and standard delivery times are 2-5 working days. We try to exceed this delivery time wherever we can. We also offer a express delivery service when available giving a next working day service if ordered before 1 pm (10 am for Eco Solutions products). Confirmation of delivery will be made on receipt of the order.

We will always try to exceed our stated delivery times where possible or dispatch orders for delivery on the next working day after our cut-off whenever possible.

Our returns policy allows you to return any item if it is not what you require within 14 days of receipt. This is as long as it has not been used and is returned in its original undamaged packaging.

The DIY Doctor store is open and available for delivery orders.

Our range of products is reduced to focus on products that are essential, or safe to pick and dispatch.

Delivery times will be extended by up to 5-7 days as we deal with orders while following government distancing guidelines.

Bank Holidays

We do experience an increase in orders over Bank holidays which can lead to delays in processing orders. We will endeavour to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible. If there are any potential delays we will contact you directly to inform you.

Free Delivery:

Where products have been quoted as having free delivery or delivery included, this will not apply for Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands due to the excess delivery charges incurred reaching these locations. Delivery costs can be seen by entering your postcode into the basket.

Why do we charge delivery?

A great many of our customers purchase multiple products, so if we build the delivery charges into each item we will in effect be charging delivery on every product in their basket. We think it is fairer to charge a single delivery cost for the contents of the whole basket once. Some products do have delivery included; this is typically because they are dispatched from another location, generally direct from the manufacturer, as there are restrictions to how they can be delivered due to their size, or if they are liquids, for example.
