Light Switches with Style

Posted on October 10, 2014 by DIY Doctor

We spotted Trendi Switches at the Homebuilding & Renovating Show at Olympia last week, and we thought if you were going for a bit of a redesign at home you could to worse than picking a light switch like this to give you a sleek modern finish to your room.

Trendi Switch Socket and Light Switch Styles

These light switches are easy to install, you can simply replace your old switch with the new one, with no additional wiring. Having said that if you are not confident and competent do not take a risk with DIY electrics, employ a qualified electrician if you are in any doubt.

They are not just a pretty face, they are manufactured from Fireproof ABS Plastic which is easy to keep clean, and will not fade over time. They are of course CE Certified. As they are not made of metal they don’t require earthing.

You don’t need to worry about replacing your bulbs, which can be an expensive exercise these days. The Trendiswitch works with all the common styles of light bulbs e.g. incandescent, fluorescent, and LED bulbs.

Trendi Switches have a high-gloss finish, that is very on-trend, and they come in black, white, silver and gold.

More than Just a Light Switch

You can buy a full range of electrical plates to get a co-ordinated look in your home.

These are the Trendi Switches in the range:

Rocker Light Switch – with between 1 and 4 switches

Plug Sockets

Intermediate Switch

Dimmer

Doorbell

Even though the quality and design are high, the price is actually very reasonable, the products range from £3.75 to £9.95 for a single item.
