If you can operate the light from two different switches it is a two waw switch.
They should be wired as follows
On your switch plate terminals you should see identification at each terminal.
Com or L= Yellow
L1=Red
L2=Blue
sometimes the L1 and L2 need to be swapped to operate correctly, it may be a good idea to look inside your second switch and look to see if L1 is red and L2 is Blue there may be other cables in the second switch but
ignore them!
