3d on TV top half not working Help, advice and problem solutions on all aspects of home appliances from washing machines to TV's

Trying to watch a bluray 3d film, as soon as it goes into 3d on menu, the top half of screen goes black and has lines, bottom half works. Any help the TV is 11 years old but hasn't had any bumps or anything.

What do the instructions say? sounds like the TV or Blu-ray player are not compatible, can you try another (Newer) TV
