Hi, I am planning to enlarge the height of two exsisting windows and look into the possibility of adding another window in our cob walled cottage, the walls are almost 2ft thick.
The new window height will be just under the roof eave level and I will need to add some form of lintel on which to resit the roof trus wall plate.
Does anybody have any experience of doing this kind of work with the cob wall cottage construction.
Any ideas on the best tool to cut through the wall?
