Hi,
I'm looking to purchase a property where we would like to do an extension over the garage. My wife picked up this morning that due to the neighbours on the garage side being set back from the house in question the planners will probably refuse a full length extension due to loss of light. I've attached an image showing the 45 degree line from the nearest window on the 1st floor and in red is the area of the proposed extension. We're on a short time frame as we put in an offer yesterday and was accepted so if anyone can give us some advice as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated.
