I have a hairline crack running diagonally from the top of the door to the ceiling.The wall in this instance is plasterboard/ drywall.
The advice I have seen is that I should run something like a screwdriver down the crack to enlarge it, stick mesh tape over the crack, apply something like polyfilla and then lightly sand ready for painting.
Curious to know whether people agree or I should be following a different approach?
