AEG Built In Fridge Freezer Leaking

Post by altrev47 » Tue Oct 22, 2013 9:05 pm

Aeg santo n 9 18 42-4i 4i. Built in Fridge freezer
We have noticed water gathering on the edge of the fitted unit below the freezer section, not in the FF itself. There is no water under the FF just on the lip of the fitted unit below. Could water be coming from bottom of door seal ? Although there's no water on bottom shelf of freezer. There's no water coming from below freezer beyond the edge underneath. Can't see where water could be coming from.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

It's quite possibly the result of condensation of moisture on the cold underneath surface. Kitchens are warm moist places and that moisture all has to go somewhere. It will condense on the coldest surface in the room.
