Air in System

by Deck1ng » Wed Jun 20, 2007 9:03 am

Hi, I have just changed the radiator after decorating our bedroom. But seem unable to get the air out of the system. I have bleed all radiators a number of times and there is a quite regular gush of air/bubbles running to the radiators, any thoughts please?

are all radiators heating up ? if so just vent radiators every couple of days, air will rise to the top of the radiators. Also try venting the central heating pump.

another thought is bleed your radiators one at a time from the ground floor and lock each one off by the valves on both sides ( make sure boiler is off)then open both sides of the radiator that is cold and turn your boiler on. Keep bleeding until all air has been pumped out.
