I am trying to install a foldable stool that mounted to the wall in the hallway. There is no stub behind the plasterboard with thermolite block works behind the plasterboard.
How do I wall mount the stool securely to bear around 70Kg loading/body weight
Hi nbuk1994, Assuming the stool brackets have multiple screws holes - Drill through the plasterboard and into the thermalites, assuming the thermalites are 100mm drill around 75mm depth into the blocks. Fit plastic wall plugs into the blocks then use expanding foam to fill the gap between the back of the plasterboard and the blocks - allow it to harden, probably 24 hours. Then fix to the wall you’ll probably need 100mm screws. Regards S
