Hi all,
My partner and I are looking at purchasing a home. It has cracks in the render and what looks to us as a damp patch below the chimney breast.
Would any of you much more knowledgeable people than us care to speculate on the cause and advise whether we should be completely horrified or whether it’s potentially not too bad.
I realise there’s only so much you can tell from pictures but any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated.
