Attaching doorknobs to drawers

by JESSJW14 » Mon Jul 08, 2013 1:58 pm

I want to replace the doorknobs on a chest of drawers but when I take the old ones off the screws stay in the drawer and cannot be screwed tighter, they just keep going round and round. There is a panel of wood behind the front of the drawer so I cannot get to the screw to replace. Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks :)

take the knobs off and use a nail and hammer to knock the screw out off the hole,if the screws are short for the new knobs then drill the wood inside the draw so the screw head is countersunk
