Bare walls

by rinkydinkydooodaa » Sat Mar 29, 2008 4:59 pm

Hi
I have started to strip the bathroom walls in preparation for tiling but all the plaster underneath is also coming off. Can someone please advise me if I will have to re skim the walls. The walls themselfs don't look to bad just a load of hair lines . Cheers.

Main thing when tiling is a flat surface and not plaster not falling away. I wouldn't worry about hair line cracks so long as the walls are flat so no real need to skim areas of the wall which wont be seen after tiling. Cheers
