I am sure most of you out there can help me!
I have an external brick wall separating my balcony from my neighbours balcony. It is about 2.5 metres high and is in reasonable condition. I can see a DPM above the first layer of bricks. Can I paint a bitumunous paint from the balcony level (which is terrazo type tiles) OVER the DPM to the next layer of bricks or must I keep the paint below the DPM. As you can see I already painted UP to the DPM but not over it. This needs renewing.
I have read info about not building a soil bank over a DPM and am confused!
