Bath Panel Installation

by Robin Burns » Sat Oct 20, 2007 10:36 am

New bath and end panel to install. No installation intructions or equipment provided by supplier. Panels come with additional section to fit underneath to ensure correct height. Unsure of how to go ahead from here. Any feedback welcomed. Thanks

Hi Robin Burns,
Things to consider;
if you don't want to chop panel down, is the height of the pipes to taps.
The legs under the bath should be adjustable and fixed in position, so your aim is to raise the height of bath so level (use spirit level) length and width, and so panel will fit in to grove underside of bath, leave a bit of tollerance as panels should give easy access to pipes under bath in case of leaks. You may have to adjust pipe length to taps now. easiest way is using fexy tap connectors, again leaves a bit of tolerance. Then hopefully panel should slot in!
