Bathroom Ceiling

by mossy810 » Thu Aug 21, 2008 8:10 pm

Hello,

Just in the process of putting a wet room in. I have Hardie Backer boards for the walls ready to go.

Do I need to put the ceiling up first or the walls on first?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
There is no hardfast ruling, but it is normally best to put ceiling up first, as it will help you achive better joints between ceiling and wall as wallboards can be lifted to give closer/tighter joint with ceiling and avoid any large gaps!
Hope this is of help
