Hi Recently moved into a property and am finding some problems , noticed the bathroom extractor fan looks to have been bodged, there doesn’t look to be isolated anywhere as it’s connected to the lighting circuit with no timer etc so just turns on and off with the light switch . It’s not sealed in properly so airflow just coming straight out the sides of the unit . This morning it’s started tripping the circuit . Guessing it’s a job for an electrician but wanted to get any other ideas . Thanks
Yep looks like a good option, have since found out it was full of water in the casing so that’s why it was tripping . Guessing it shouldn’t be sticking so far out from ceiling either , there’s no seal so air just coming back through the foam .
