Bathroom shaver light

by simba » Wed Apr 30, 2008 4:03 pm

I have just had a bathroom and en -suite refit. Both originally had a shaver light in place, fully working. I replaced like for like (just to have a newer fitting) but now the shaver light only charges a shaver when the light is on, whereas before, it charged whether the light was on or off. Any ideas? I wired exactly the same.

As it's 'like for like' I am hoping its not notifiable despite being a special area - is this correct?

Where I can find manufactures instructions they all state the switch will control both functions so I would assume it is now a requirement.
There is a link in projects to Part P I think you are correct with like for like.
