bathroom wall light

by mallan » Fri Jun 29, 2007 12:20 pm

im replacing the bathroom wall light with a new one, the exisintg wiring in the wall has 3 wires (live, neutral and earth) and the fitting also has 3.

however the new light fitting only has a live and neutral, where does the earth connect to?? also the new fitting is plastic, if this makes any difference?

Hi new fitting is prob. dble insulated and if so will have the 'box in a box' symbol to say so. If so then tape up earth and tuck away from other connections in small connector block behind fitting. regards SPARX
