Baxi Boiler problem with the hot water

by dave1979 » Thu Feb 11, 2010 9:35 am

Hi all

I have a baxi combination boiler, but can not receive hot water from the taps unless the central heating is on, if the central heating is off i get no hot water. Which i no if the heating is on or off the hot water should come on automatic. I persuming its got something wrong with a valve or some kind of switch???? not sure (no expert)

Thanks Dave

Most likely to be the pressure differential diaphragm is split or stretched - especially if a Baxi 80 or 105 E or HE etc.

Easily repaired, if you can confirm the boiler model. Look on the pull down flap of the boiler - right hand side next to the barcode.
