Good afternoon all, I have a Baxi Solo 30HE boiler, it's around 4 years old now. Over the summer it heats the water up nicely and ticks along very happily. Now the winters here it's a different story. When the central heating kicks in it will work for a while, anywhere between 10 minutes and 3 hours, at some point there will be a banging of pipes and gurgling sounds and then the boiler will cut out. I can reset the boiler and then the boiler will run quite happily through the rest of it's timed cycle.
The banging and cutting out problem appears to be connected with the central heating, not the hot water.
I have bled the radiators. There wasn't any air in them.
I'm stumped to be honest and any help or advice would be very gratefully received. Many thanks in advance
