I've been asked by a friend to help them "fix" some textured wallpaper in their house. The only problem is there's a LOT of it. I had a couple of ideas and I wanted some opinions:
1, Strip - seems like a long job and we have no idea what manner of evil is hidden under the wallpaper 2, Skim - not done it before but it seems doable however I doubt my skills (or my mates) to do a good, smooth job 3, Grind it down - don't know this is even possible but it seems like a logical opposite to #2
You cant skim plaster over textured wallpaper the water from the plaster you would have bubbles everywhere. There is only one way to remove and that is with a scraper, you could try using a steam strpper maybe easier.
