Hi, what product is best to repoint a decorative fireplace surround / mantelpiece? The current mortar is a kind of yellowish colour to match the ‘stone’.

Hi diy_chimp,
You will need to find a yellow building sand and a cement that does not add too much grey. Probably better to use a 6:1:1 sand:cement:lime mix but make some up and allow it to set and dry to check the colour.
