Hello, totally rubbish DIY person here. I have leaking Asbestos guttering and have been advised to "paint" bitumen inside the guttering to make it waterproof and is cheaper than replacing it. If I do this do I have to heat the bitumen or can it go on cold and also does the guttering have to be 100% dry before i apply the bitumen or can it go on damp-ish guttering? Thanks guys.
