black damp

ok i bought a house with pcvu double glazing windows and you know were the sealent is around the window there is this black damp/fungy or some thing on the sealant, you see this with kitching sinks & bathrooms and i was just thinking is there a way to get this cleaned or will i have to dig out the old sealant from the pcvu windows, i was told to get some pcvu cleaner but am unsure if this will get the fungy black stuff of my windows

We bought some of this stuff a month or so ago.
It doesn't work.
It got some off but, not all.
Mostly leaves a brown stain behind but thats not what we wanted.
I've always cut the old marked stuff off and re sealed that works
for a time.
There is new stuff on the market that supposed to keep mould free for ten years.
