I have painted our dining room ceiling with matt white emulsion.
I have applied 2 coats but the finish is still blotchy ie. the finish is not even. I have painted other ceilings in the property without having this problem. The finish before painting was not blotchy.
Can somebody advise how I can resolve this problem or possibly a specialist paint which will give an even finish.
I have tried Dulux Magic White which claims to cure blotchiness. They say it goes on pink but dries white, however when I tried it on a test area it dried off white/greyish so I couldn't use it.
Any help would be much appreciated
