boiler opperates non stop

by rmaone » Fri Sep 10, 2010 7:08 pm

Hi, I have recently renewed my conventional boiler (ravenheat), pump, 3way valve, & programmer. The wiring diagramme supplied with the boiler was ambiguous! The system works, however the boiler kicks on & off as directed by the room/cylinder stats even when the programmer is off! The only way to stop the boiler is to power the system down! I have double checked my wiring is to supplied diagramme. Ravenheat tech helpline wont speak to me as I'm not a gas safe engineer. Can you help? Cheers. Bob.

sorry I doubt you will get much help or sympathy on here or any other forum.
You have broken the law twice, by doing gas work & LABC notifiable electrical work!
You must know this & if you can't sort out a simple electrical circuit what chance the gas will be right?
Suggest you speak nicely to a gas safe registered heating eng. & a registered part p electrician to get you out of the mire.
