boiler problem

by rfroud » Mon Jan 19, 2009 12:58 pm

My bosh Worcester combi boiler is showing that there is no pressure in the system.
I have topped it up several times and the pressure goes down within a minute or two.
There is no sign of a leak.
I haven’t used this advice forum before; I hope some one can give me some advice.
Cheers
Robert

Hi Robert,

Well the water is going somewhere.
Check the blow off pipe outside just under your boiler but outside (PRV)
It may be dumping the water from there.
If so PRV needs changing.
If your skills are up to it check the EX Vessel for water in it, it should be air from the car tyre type (Schrader) valve.
