boilers

by bsylys » Mon Dec 14, 2009 10:44 am

My boiler is in an unheated garage. In a cold spell the censor automatically kicks in and the boiler fires up, this means I have virtually 24 hour heating which is very expensive. There is no suitable outside wall near the present position inside the house. Can the boiler be housed in a cupboard?

Depends on the boiler - but probably.

If you have water pipes in the garage - make sure they insulated, if the boiler is coming on - there's a risk of pipes freezing.
