I need to repoint some parts of the gable end of my and chimney stack, the gable end is right next to the driveway and so i figured hiring a boom lift or scissor lift would be easiest as its a 2 storey house and i dont fancy being on a 3 stage ladder trying to do the pointing and it would be alot or scaffolding to get rigged.
My question is can i hire a boom lift for for personal use? or is offical training/insurance required these days?
