Bosch 24i boiler

by vince cahill » Mon Dec 08, 2008 11:38 am

:? pressure indicator drops over a period of 2 days. Noticed water comes from somewhere inside boiler. Placed bucket underneath to prove. Water not coming from water top valves. Heating and hot water ok. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Hi Vince,

Could be the PRV blowing excess pressure off, if not connected to outside it will come from your boiler. As an aside is your filling loop def. shut?

Thanks for your response Steve much appreciated. The loop is switched off and I removed flexi pipe to ensure both valves were shut.
As for as I am aware all is connected to boiler, will this problem cause me any severe problems. Once again thanks. Vince

Well,

You need to locate the leak - it cannot be good in the long run.

It could be a fitting coming loose or a fitting/washer beginning to fail etc.
