breeze block buildings

Post by ibl2041 » Sat Jul 28, 2007 10:20 pm

Hi

I want to build a few breeze block buildings which will only have corrugated iron rooves. They are mainly to house animals over winter.
What are the easiest type of foundations to put down and how do you do it. The soil is clay and there are no trees nearby.

Thanks

You will need to dig out vegetation soil approx 500mm and place a minumin of 200mm cocrete. If you can get a 3 nuton block which are light it will give good strength and dont forget to build in piers approx every 5m in length, also by door openings.
