Please can anyone advise me, is it still acceptable to start a foundation/footing with a split course where the concrete is finished to a wrong level? I have started doing this and my brother reckons he knew someone who had to pull a house down over it, saying it's not acceptable. I can speak to building inspectors tomorrow but he's ruined my day with the prospect of pulling down a weeks work!
Could anyone who knows the answer for certain mail me?
