I have a fun one i live in a 1970s house that had an openfire before being converted to gas then later blocked up i have opened the builders opening up however there appear to be supporting bricks missing to the right of the opening.
my plan is to install a woodburner however my question is can i use Class A solid engineering brick protected by fire-boards or does it require actual firebricks such as Victas
