Burying C/H pipes

by moselinf » Wed Sep 05, 2007 10:28 am

I'm currently running some new radiators into a concrete floor, I have chopped out for the new pipework and plan to wrap the pipes with barrier tape before re-instating the floor. What is the most appropriate material to use to back-fill the trenches?

Can't suggest building material as I'm not a builder, but I would suggest you use plastic barrier pipe in a roll so you have no joints in the burried pipework. I would also stronlgly suggest that you pressure test, leaving the pressure on over night prior to back filling.
