Hi, I'm new to DIY and am planning on repainting my bedrooms. After some Googling and reading of reviews I think I'm going to use Johnstones Acrylic Durable Matt, as I want something washable. Since it needs two coats, is there any reason why I can't do the base coat with the cheaper standard matt paint, and just do the top coat with the more expensive washable one?
