Can't get Bath Tap Handle off and no Obvious Securing Points

Help needed to get bath tap handle off to replace insides. Cold water handle turns both ways, but no water comes out. No makers name on fitting (came with new build 4yrs ago so presumably generic). No screws or anything obvious to get at. Moderate pull on handle no effect. No cap or similar to remove. Button on top does not come out. Any advice on getting handle off? Please see photo.

This looks the type fixed by a small recessed allen key. It is set into the knob and usually very small and is situated to the rear face of knob. You will have to rotate the knob and feel the underside to find it. You will never see it from above. loosen the allen key and it will pull off. If you are going to fit a new thermostatic valve you may as well just shut off the water and remove the whole unit to check. Chances are with those symptoms you could be unblocking the gauze filter on the inlet or more likely changing the unit in any case. Hope it works out.
