Can’t remove dishwasher water attachment from sink

Postby Yonderboy » Sun Mar 29, 2020 5:38 pm

Hi!

So due to the ongoing ‘stuff’ in the world, I’ve got a new dishwasher that no one is able to install :-/

My diy skills are useless but it doesn’t seem too hard. Unfortunately though I’ve stumbled at the first hurdle and am unable to remove the water intake pipe from under my sink. It seems to be stuck fast! I haven’t got a wrench but would be afraid of breaking something if I used one.

Would anybody have any tips?

Many thanks for any help you can give
Nick

Hi yonder boy,
Use your wrench on the plastic nut but use a second pair on the valve (with the blue lever) to stop the valve becoming unscrewed.

Hi, thanks. I still can’t get it to budge.

Which way should I attempt to turn the white plastic nut? towards me?

Thanks
Nick
