We have just had wooden framed window replaced for pvc in our 1920 house, the kitchen window was replaced in a shorter size. The bottom half has been wooden framed and boarded. Our concern is that the inside of the window is so high that there is little to nearly no frame showing after plasterboard. Can a window be fitted too high? The installer has said it is fitted correctly because the outside looks fine.
Hi winston123, Presumably you spend a lot more time in your kitchen than you do viewing the outside and therefore the window should be installed accordingly. If the installer did not get your agreement beforehand as to the positioning of the window you should get them back and get it corrected. Regards S
