Can you mix pushfit components?

Post by smurfy » Fri Dec 03, 2010 7:22 pm

Hello folks - I need to replace a 3 way reducing tee. The pipes are Floplast but my tee is Speedfit. Is this ok and if so what pipe insert should I use? Do I need a pipe insert at all? The current fitting doesn't seem to have any pipe inserts.

Many thanks for any help.

All plastic pipes have the same external bore, and it is preferable but not essential to use the same make when extending.

Always use the correct inserts for that make of pipe. Sorry, don't know about Floplast, but I would expect so.
