I have oil-fired central heating, a Camray 5 combi boiler. Have had to remove most radiators to renovate house (3 of 5 radiators removed). Have now replaced radiators but cannot refill the system; opening valves at both end of filling loop does nothing at all- no sound of water. Filling loop appears to be connected properly at both ends. Very cold weather here (Highlands of Scotland) but water coming out of hot taps so pipes not frozen (yet) I don't think. Can someone help or do I need to call in an expensive heating engineer?
