Central Heating is Not working - Any Ideas????

Post by Homeiscold » Thu Jan 24, 2008 6:24 pm

We have two heating units in our attic. One controls 1st floor and the other the 2nd. Heat upstairs works perfect. Downstairs it is freezing. I looked at the unit, the pilot light is lit, not sure if the problem could be a leak. Any ides?

what's the make and model of these 'units' ?

If the pilot light is on, any power to the gas valve ? if yes - you need a CORGI registered installer to replace solenoid.

If no, all thermostats and programmer calling for heat ? power to boiler PCB ?
